Powell Recovery Center has really helped me get control of my life back. When I came in to treatment I wasn't sure what to expect because it was my first time trying to get off of drugs, I didn't even know if I was ready to try but I knew something had to give and I needed to change. With the help of the counselors and staff here I have transformed completely for the better. I feel better than I've ever felt in my life. Going through the phases of treatment I continued to grow, get pushed to get to the root of my problems, along side of mental health group therapy, I have gained self-esteem, self-confidence, and can truly say I love myself. I have had so much support on this journey which makes the biggest difference for me. If you really want a better way of life there is a way out, you just have to put the work in and honestly want more out of life. When I walked through these doors six months ago I was completely broken and I am leaving with a sense of control, peace, and happiness.

I was once an employee of Powell. A pretty good staff member too. I always treated the clients with respect and I loved my work. Well, I had fell into a position that as a result, cost me my job. For this to be a Recovery Center, nobody offered me any assistance. I even tried to get in contact with the director of the program and I never got a response. I believe that certain staff members are privileged and they are the ones that receive special treatment because they're part of a click. I for one, refused to participate in this type of behavior. So I guess that's why I was tossed to the side like yesterday's news.

When I first came to Powell I was broken, lost, didn't know which way to go. I sat and stayed and Powell Recovery saved my life. I never went hungry. I never went without food, clothing, they supplied all my needs. The van service is prompt, the staff is wonderful (all staff). However, I really wish I could stay past 6 months. The mental health anger management classes are great. I really enjoy them and they are helping me like you wouldn't believe. Thanks, Powell Recovery!

I did great here, I stayed clean the whole time I was here, I never relapsed. The program here is a good program. I liked all of the programs that I did here. The LIFE program and mental health were beneficial because it helped me to live life on life's terms. Substance abuse groups have helped me to continue to stay clean with the information they gave me. Mental health has helped me with my grief and loss and also with my anger issues. All of them together has made me get my life back in order.

This program is amazing. It provides so much information and resources to move on to the next phase of life. I did many of the programs offered at PRC and I had a good experience. I would recommend it to those still suffering because there is a new way of life!!!!!

I been in a lot of programs but Powell Recovery is the last place that really helped me its been 8 years and I'm still clean and sober from thanks to Powell Recovery and their amazing staff they believed in me and helped me to get off drugs and clean my mind this place saved my life. I love Powell and the staff my house managers Miss Gina, Renee, Lisa, Mama Raine, and Sonia are the best they truly care about you and your recovery.

My daughter loved this program. She had a hard time @ first but they were ALWAYS trying to help HER with getting back on track 💓
